La position de l'autrice dans le champ littéraire en France et en Italie à l'époque 1900
KULESSA VON ROTRAUD
The 19th century owns a considerably high number of female writers. La femme à Paris. Nos contemporaines (1894) estimates that there are 2133 female writers. However, few female authors have found their way into the literary canon, except for Colette and Anna de Noailles in France and Grazia Deledda, Matilde Serao and Sibilla Aleramo in Italy. \This work examines the mechanism and functioning of the literary canon using Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of the literary field. It focuses in particular on the position of female writers in France and Italy during the 19th century.\
