LES FEMMES ET LA MUSIQUE DANS L'OEUVRE DE SHAKESPEARE

ROULON NATALIE

This study explores the question of women in connection with the theatrical and poetical works of Shakespeare. It looks at the music interpreted by women, at metaphors, word plays, quotations in songs, references to musical myths and the symbolism of instruments. The study thus offers a dialogue between Shakespearian texts and contemporary discourse as found in pamphlets, manuals etc.
