Gilbert Ducher was part of the famed humanist circle based in Lyon in the 1530s. This is an edition and translation of his sole surviving poetry collection, Epigrammaton libri duo (1538), which displays the epigrammatic vein that was then in fashion. It also sheds light on the man and his extraordinary erudition.
